We have excellent surgical facilities, with two dedicated operating theatres, fitted with the latest theatre lighting, low flow gaseous anaesthesia and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.
We have fully digitalised radiography and ultrasound in our imaging room, and an extensive range of surgical equipment for orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures, including laparoscopic surgery.
We have a full range of scopes for arthroscopy, gastroscopy and cystoscopy, and our own in-house laboratory permitting us to carry out diagnostic blood work on the same day.
We have warm and comfortable kennelling, with supportive orthopedic bedding for our patients. We have separate dog and cat suites, to reduce stress for our feline friends. We have walk-in kennels for our larger dogs, and all are equipped with blankets, toys and heat pads as required to make your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible.
Should your pet stay overnight, our on-call vets visit the patients regularly throughout the night, to provide all the care they need.
There is ample on-site parking, and our friendly reception staff will be happy to provide assistance and advice, tea, coffee and bathroom facilities available on your arrival.
Aberystwyth is by the sea, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is lots to do here, whilst your pet is undergoing treatment at our surgery, so do ask our reception staff and they will advise you where to go.
